How do you know if you’ve consumed more caffeine than you can tolerate?

Although I’m not a coffee drinker, nor do I drink soda but lately I have been drinking more ice tea and noticed that when consuming more than 12 ounces a day, it affects me.

As with anything, be aware of the following changes associated with over-consuming caffeine.

  • insomnia
  • jitters
  • anxiousness
  • fast heart rate
  • upset stomach
  • nausea
  • a headache
  • a feeling of unhappiness (dysphoria)
